告诉他，万军之耶和华说，‘看啊，那被称为大卫苗裔的要从自己的地方兴起，建造耶和华的殿。祂必建造耶和华的殿，带着王者的尊荣坐在宝座上掌权，宝座上也必坐着祭司，两者和谐共存。’

耶稣说：“我们拿什么比作上帝的国呢？用什么比喻来解释呢？上帝的国就像一粒芥菜种。它是种子中最小的，但种在地里，却能长得比各样蔬菜都大，有粗大的枝条，可以让飞鸟在它的树荫中筑巢。”

祭司长和法利赛人便召开公会会议，说：“这人行了这么多神迹，我们该怎么办呢？如果让祂这样继续下去，所有的人都会信祂，那时罗马人一定会来夺取我们的土地，掳掠我们的人民。”

在以上列王统治的时候，天上的上帝必设立一国——永不灭亡、外族无法夺其政权。这国将击垮、消灭列国，并且永远长存。你看见那块非人手从山中凿出的石头打碎铁、铜、泥、银和金。伟大的上帝已把将来的事告诉了王。这梦是真实的，解释是可靠的。”

他去见祭司长和圣殿护卫长，商议如何把耶稣出卖给他们，

法利赛人彼此议论说：“我们真是枉费心思！你看，整个世界都跟着祂跑了。”

在你观看的时候，有一块非人手凿出的石头打在塑像半铁半泥的脚上，砸碎了脚。铁、泥、铜、银、金随即粉碎，犹如夏天麦场上的糠秕，被风吹得无影无踪。但打碎这像的石头变成一座大山，充满整个大地。

然后对前来抓祂的祭司长、圣殿护卫长和长老说：“你们像对付强盗一样拿着刀棍来抓我吗？

官长实在不知道如何惩治使徒，只好再三恐吓之后把他们放了，因为百姓都为这个神迹赞美上帝。
