Now during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.And all the people would get up very early in the morning to come to Him in the temple to listen to Him.

So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.

But the high priest stood up, along with all his associates( that is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother,‘ You good for nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says,‘ You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

For you will be a witness for Him to all people of what you have seen and heard.

But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law, respected by all the people, stood up in the Council and gave orders to put the men outside for a short time.

And when they heard that he was addressing them in the Hebrew dialect, they became even more quiet; and he* said,“ I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated under Gamaliel, strictly according to the Law of our fathers, being zealous for God just as you all are today.
