一下船，眾人就認出了耶穌。人們跑遍那整個地區，聽到耶穌在哪裡，就把有病的人用墊子抬到哪裡。無論耶穌進到哪裡，或村莊、或城鎮、或鄉下，人們就把病人放在街市上，懇求耶穌只要讓他們摸一下他的衣服穗子。凡是摸著的人，都得了救治。

所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。

另有人藉著同一位聖靈被賜予了信仰，又有人藉著這獨一的聖靈被賜予了使人痊癒的恩賜，

就在那些日子裡，有一天耶穌在教導人的時候，也有些法利賽人和律法教師坐在那裡，他們是從加利利和猶太地區的各村莊，以及耶路撒冷來的。主的大能與耶穌同在，使他能醫病。

他的消息就在全敘利亞省傳開了。人們把所有的病人，就是患各種疾病的、受疼痛折磨的、有鬼魔附身的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶到耶穌那裡。耶穌就使他們痊癒。

這時候，一些人帶了一個癱瘓的人來到耶穌那裡，是被四個人抬來的；但由於人多，無法抬到耶穌面前，他們就把耶穌上方的屋頂拆了。拆通之後，就把躺在墊子上那癱瘓的人縋了下去。

可是眾人知道了，就跟著他去。耶穌歡迎他們，向他們講說有關神國的事，並且使那些需要醫治的人得痊癒。

有一大群人來到他面前，帶著瘸腿的、瞎眼的、殘疾的、聾啞的還有許多其他人，把他們放在耶穌腳前；耶穌就使他們痊癒了。結果眾人看見聾啞的說話，殘疾的康復，瘸腿的行走，瞎眼的看見，都感到驚奇，就榮耀以色列的神。

到了傍晚，人們把許多有鬼魔附身的人帶到耶穌那裡。耶穌話語一出就把那些邪靈都趕了出去，並且使所有患病的人痊癒了。

「我確確實實地告訴你們：我所做的事，信我的人也要做，而且要做比這些更大的事。這是因為我就要到父那裡去了。

求你伸出你的手，藉著你聖僕耶穌的名，使疾病痊癒，施行神蹟和奇事。」
