他們賣了田產家業，分給眾人、照人所需要的。

永恆主的聖民哪，你們要敬畏永恆主，因為敬畏他的一無所缺。少壯獅子有缺乏有饑餓；但尋求永恆主的、甚麼好處都不缺。

因為永恆主你的上帝在你手所作的一切事上已賜福與你；你怎樣走這大曠野、他都知道；這四十年永恆主你的上帝都與你同在；你一無所缺。」

我告訴你們，要用不義的錢財結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，你們便可以被接納到永世的帳幕裏去。

你們要變賣資財來施捨，為自己豫備永不舊的錢囊，用不盡的財寶在天上；那裏沒有賊能走近，也沒有蟲能毁壞。

耶穌對他們說：『我從前差遣你們不帶着錢囊口袋和鞋，那時你們缺少了甚麼沒有？』他們說：『沒有。』

耶穌對他說：『你若想要作到完全，就該去變賣你的資財、給予窮人，你就有財寶在天上；你來吧，來跟從我。』

耶穌定睛看了看他，愛他，就對他說：『你缺少一件；去變賣你所有的，給予窮人，你就有財寶在天上；你來吧，來跟從我。』

為自己積存着善行做美好的根基、以備將來，好將那真是生命的把握住。

在父上帝看來、看望孤兒寡婦在苦難中、並且保守自己不受世俗的玷污：這就是潔淨而不染污的宗教了。

他有田地變賣了，把錢拿來，放在使徒腳前。但是有一個人名叫亞拿尼亞、同他的妻子撒非喇、變賣了田產，卻從價錢中私拿幾分（妻子也與知其事），而把一部分拿來，放在使徒腳旁。彼得說：『亞拿尼亞，為甚麼撒但充滿了你的心，以致你撒謊騙聖靈，從園地的價錢中私拿幾分呢？

使你們行事為人讓外界看為端端正正有體面，不需要人賙濟。
