他们变卖财产和产业，按照各人的需要分给大家。

耶和华的圣者们哪，你们当敬畏他！因为敬畏他的人一无所缺。少壮狮子也会疲乏、饥饿，但寻求耶和华的什么福份都不缺。

我告诉你们：要藉着那不义的财富为自己结交朋友，这样当财富无用的时候，你们会被接到永恒的居所里。

你们当卖掉自己所拥有的，施舍给人，为自己预备不会破旧的钱包和没有穷尽的财宝在天上；在那里盗贼不能靠近，也没有虫咬蚀。

接着耶稣问他们：“我从前差派你们出去的时候，你们不带钱包、行囊、鞋子，你们缺少过什么没有？”他们说：“没有。”

耶稣对他说：“如果你想要成为完全的，就当去卖掉你所拥有的，分给穷人，这样你将有财宝在天上；然后你来跟从我。”

耶稣注视着他，就爱他，对他说：“你还缺少一件：去卖掉你所拥有的，分给穷人，这样你将有财宝在天上；然后你来跟从我。”

为着那将要来临的，给自己积存美好的基础，使他们抓住那真正的生命。

在父神看来，纯洁而没有玷污的虔诚是这样的：照顾患难中的孤儿寡妇，并且保守自己不受世界的玷污。

他有一块田地，也卖掉了，把钱拿来放在使徒们的脚前。有一个名叫阿纳尼亚的人，和他的妻子萨菲拉卖掉了财产。但他从价款中私自留下了一部分，把一部分拿来放在使徒们的脚前；他的妻子也知道这事。彼得就说：“阿纳尼亚，为什么撒旦充满了你的心，使你对圣灵说谎，从田产的价款中私自留下一些呢？

好使你们在外人面前能够行事端正，不会有什么缺乏。
