因为耶和华你的神，对于你手里所作的一切事，都已经赐福给你；他也知道你怎样走这大旷野；这四十年来，耶和华你们的神常与你同在，使你毫无缺乏。”’

我告诉你们，要用不义的钱财（“钱财”亚兰文是“玛门”）去结交朋友，好叫钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永恒的帐棚里。

当变卖你们所有的施舍给人，为自己制造不朽坏的钱囊，积蓄用不尽的财宝在天上，就是贼不能近、虫不能蛀的地方。

耶稣又对他们说：“从前我差你们出去，没有带钱囊、口袋、鞋子，你们缺乏什么没有？”他们说：“没有。”

耶稣对他说：“如果你想要完全，就去变卖你所有的，分给穷人，你就必定有财宝在天上，而且你要来跟从我。”

耶稣看着他，就爱他，对他说：“你还缺少一件：去变卖你所有的，分给穷人，就必定有财宝在天上，而且你要来跟从我。”

这样，就为自己在来世积聚财富，作美好的基础，好叫他们能够得着那真正的生命。

在父神看来，纯洁无玷污的虔诚，就是照顾患难中的孤儿寡妇，并且保守自己不被世俗所污染。

他卖掉了自己的田地，把钱拿来，放在使徒的脚前。有一个人名叫亚拿尼亚，同他妻子撒非拉，把田产卖了。他私底下把钱留了一部分，妻子也知道这件事。他把其余的一部分带来，放在使徒的脚前。彼得说：“亚拿尼亚，为什么撒但充满了你的心，使你欺骗圣灵，私底下把卖地的钱留了一部分呢？

使你们行事为人可以得到外人的尊敬，自己也不会有什么缺乏了。
