Many signs and wonders were being done among the people through the hands of the apostles. By common consent they would all meet in Solomon’s Colonnade.None of the rest dared to join them, but the people praised them highly.Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers— crowds of both men and women.As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them.In addition, a large group came together from the towns surrounding Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we were among you for your benefit,

while You stretch out Your hand for healing, signs, and wonders to be performed through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.

At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to His will.

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.

For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed,by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum.
