友聞之、同心揚聲頌上帝曰、主乎、爾乃造天地海、及其中萬有者、

友聞言、一心揚聲籲上帝曰、主乃上帝、造天地海萬物者、

友聞之、一心揚聲籲天主曰、主乃天主、造天地海、及其中萬物者、

眾皆揚聲讚頌上主曰：『主！爾立天地、作江海、締造萬物、

When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God.“ Sovereign Lord,” they said,“ you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

The believers heard this. Then they raised their voices together in prayer to God.“ Lord and King,” they said,“ you made the heavens, the earth and the sea. You made everything in them.

And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said,“ Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them,

因為六日之內、永恆主造天、地、海、和其中的萬物，第七日便歇息；所以永恆主賜福與安息之日，分別為聖。

「哀，主永恆主啊，你看，是你用大能大力和伸出來的膀臂創造了天地；在你並沒有難成的事。

『你、惟獨你是永恆主；是你造了天、天上之天、和諸天的萬象，地和地上的萬物，海和海中的萬物；這一切都是你所保存的；天軍也都敬拜你。

要時常喜樂；不住地禱告；凡事感謝；這就是上帝在基督耶穌裏對於你們的旨意。

然而主卻站在我旁邊，給我能力，使該宣傳的藉着我都得傳盡，而外國人都聽見，我也得救援、脫離獅子的口。主必援救我脫離各樣兇惡的事，也救護我進他屬天之國。願榮耀歸於他，世世無窮！阿們。

弟兄們，我們不願意你們不明白我們從前在亞西亞所受的苦難，就是：極受重壓，出於力所能勝之外，甚至到了絕望，連活着的希望都沒有；自己心裏也已斷定必死。這是要使我們不倚靠自己，乃倚靠那叫死人活起來的上帝。他已經援救我們脫離這麼大的死亡，將來還要援救；我們一向所寄望的他、將來還要援救。你們也該為我們的緣故用祈禱相支持，這樣，既有這麼多人、為我們之得救而禱告，就必有這麼多人為了上帝向我們所施的慈恩、而為我們感謝上帝。

以雅各之上帝為助力，專仰望永恆主他的上帝的，這人有福啊！永恆主造天、地、海、和其中的萬物；他守忠信到永遠；

我的心哪，你要安靜無聲，專專等候上帝；因為我所盼望的是從他而來的。惟獨他是我的磐石、我的救星、我的高壘；我總不搖動。我得的救恩、我的光榮、都在於上帝；我力量的磐石、我的避難所、是在上帝裏。眾民哪，你們要時時倚靠他，在他面前傾心吐意；上帝是我們的避難所。（細拉）

希西家在永恆主面前禱告說：『永恆主、以色列的上帝、坐在基路伯中間的啊，惟獨你是地上萬國的上帝；是你造了天和地。

你們要歌頌永恆主，頌讚永恆主！因為他援救了窮人的性命脫離作壞事者的手。

惟獨永恆主才是真上帝；他是永活的上帝，是永遠的王：他一發怒，大地都震動；他一生氣，列國都抵受不住。你們要對他們這麼說：『那沒有造天造地的神必從地上、從天下、被除滅。』是永恆主用他的能力造了大地，用他的智慧建立了世界，用他的聰明展開了諸天。

『是我，我親自安慰你們的；你怎麼啦，你竟怕那會死的人，怕那生成如草的世人呀！

至於我呢、我卻要向上帝呼求，永恆主就拯救我；晚上、早晨和中午、我都哀怨悲歎。他聽了我的聲音，贖救了我的性命得到平安，脫離我接觸的戰陣；因為攻擊我的、的確真多。

永恆主我們的上帝啊，現在求你拯救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道惟獨你、永恆主、才是上帝。』

他們便滿心狂怒，彼此討論，該怎樣辦耶穌。當這些日子、耶穌出去到上山禱告，整夜禱告上帝。

但我呢、我是困苦傷痛的；上帝啊，願你的拯救保護我於高處。我要以詩歌頌讚上帝的名，以稱謝尊他為大。

願我的對頭穿上羞辱；願他們以自己的慚愧為外袍而披上。我要滿口極力地稱謝永恆主；我要在眾人中間頌讚他。因為他站在窮人右邊，來救他脫離定他死罪的人。

大約在半夜裏，保羅和西拉直禱告唱詩頌讚上帝，囚犯們直注意聽着。
