The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign.So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, the world has gone after him.”

so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

But Peter said,“ I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.And all the people saw him walking and praising God,

And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying,“ Never was anything like this seen in Israel.”

And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying,“ We have seen extraordinary things today.”

But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to anyone in this name.”

As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him.
