但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。

可是彼得和約翰回答說：「聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前是理所當然的嗎？你們自己判斷吧！

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、過於聽上帝、在上帝前為義否、爾其審之、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、而過於聽上帝、在上帝前、義乎、爾自審焉、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹過於聽天主、在天主前義否、爾自審之、

伯鐸祿若望曰：『順爾旨而背天主、爾自分於理有當否？

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,

But Peter and the apostles answered,“ We must obey God rather than men.

But the midwives feared God, and didn’t do what the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the baby boys alive.

I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house( now his windows were open in his room toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

Yes, he himself also hurried to go out, because Yahweh had struck him.

Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him.All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.If anyone has an ear, let him hear.If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice,“ If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

This thing became a sin; for the people went even as far as Dan to worship before the one there.

The men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had instructed them in the letters which she had written and sent to them.
