But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。

可是彼得和約翰回答說：「聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前是理所當然的嗎？你們自己判斷吧！

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、過於聽上帝、在上帝前為義否、爾其審之、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、而過於聽上帝、在上帝前、義乎、爾自審焉、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹過於聽天主、在天主前義否、爾自審之、

伯鐸祿若望曰：『順爾旨而背天主、爾自分於理有當否？

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right from God’s point of view? Should we listen to you? Or should we listen to God? You be the judges!

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,

But Peter and John replied,“ Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?

Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, make your own judgment;

But Peter and John replied,“ Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said:“ We ought to obey God rather than men.

But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.

I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

But when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the Lord his God by entering the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.So Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him were eighty priests of the Lord— valiant men.And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him,“ It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You shall have no honor from the Lord God.”Then Uzziah became furious; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the incense altar.And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place. Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the Lord had struck him.

Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

For the statutes of Omri are kept; All the works of Ahab’s house are done; And you walk in their counsels, That I may make you a desolation, And your inhabitants a hissing. Therefore you shall bear the reproach of My people.”

Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones? Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men?

They said to Him,“ Caesar’s.” And He said to them,“ Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, Because he willingly walked by human precept.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

And Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever the Lord says to me, that I will speak.”

And He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned and who made Israel sin.”

And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.If anyone has an ear, let him hear.He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,“ If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

So the men of his city, the elders and nobles who were inhabitants of his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them.

have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
