But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken unto you rather than unto God, judge ye:

彼得和约翰回答：“听从你们过于听从神，在神面前对不对，你们自己说吧！

可是彼得和约翰回答说：“听从你们过于听从神，在神面前是理所当然的吗？你们自己判断吧！

但彼得和約翰答道：「要我們聽從你們而不聽從上帝，這在上帝看來合理嗎？你們自己想想吧。

彼得和約翰回答：“聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前對不對，你們自己說吧！

但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。

可是彼得和約翰回答說：「聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前是理所當然的嗎？你們自己判斷吧！

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、過於聽上帝、在上帝前為義否、爾其審之、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、而過於聽上帝、在上帝前、義乎、爾自審焉、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹過於聽天主、在天主前義否、爾自審之、

伯鐸祿若望曰：『順爾旨而背天主、爾自分於理有當否？

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right from God’s point of view? Should we listen to you? Or should we listen to God? You be the judges!

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,

But Peter and John replied,“ Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?

Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, make your own judgment;

But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

But Peter and John replied,“ Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.

But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men- children alive.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house( now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly, and he trespassed against Jehovah his God; for he went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the altar of incense.And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of Jehovah, that were valiant men:and they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It pertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Jehovah, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honor from Jehovah God.Then Uzziah was wroth; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense; and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy brake forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense.And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out quickly from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because Jehovah had smitten him.

Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I may make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing: and ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; because he was content to walk after man’s command.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

And Micaiah said, As Jehovah liveth, what Jehovah saith unto me, that will I speak.

Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand,he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

And this thing became a sin; for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.

And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who dwelt in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, according as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.

Now therefore hear thou the word of Jehovah: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac;

do ye not make distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
