耶稣对他说：“我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉着我，没有人能到父那里去。

这见证就是：上帝赐给我们永生，而这永生是在他儿子里面的。那有上帝儿子的，就有生命；没有上帝儿子的，就没有生命。

因为只有一位上帝，在上帝和人之间也只有一位中保，是成为人的基督耶稣。他献上自己作人人的赎价；在适当的时候这事已经证实了。

他吩咐我们传道给众人，证明他是上帝所立定，要作审判活人、死人的审判者。众先知也为这人作见证：凡信他的人，必藉着他的名得蒙赦罪。”

并且人们要奉他的名传悔改、使罪得赦的道，从耶路撒冷起直传到万邦。

你们总要谨慎，不可拒绝那向你们说话的，因为那些拒绝了在地上警戒他们的，尚且不能逃罪，何况我们违背那从天上警戒我们的呢？

我必使万代记念你的名，万民要永永远远称谢你。

只要你们持守信仰，根基稳固，坚定不移，不致动摇，离开了你们从前所听见的福音的盼望；这福音也是传给天下一切被造之物的，我—保罗作了这福音的仆役。

谁能与我对质，使我偿还呢？天下万物都是我的。

水势在地上极其浩大，普天下所有的高山都淹没了。
