耶穌對他說：『我就是道路，就是「真實」，就是生命；若不是藉着我，就沒有人能來找父。

因為除了那已立好的根基、耶穌基督、沒有人能立別的根基。

信子的有永恆的生命；不信從子的必不得見生命，上帝的義怒卻停留在他身上。』

上帝將真而永的生命賜給我們；而這生命乃是在他兒子裏面：所見證的就是這個。擁有這兒子的、才有生命；沒有上帝兒子的、就沒有生命。

上帝只有一位，在上帝與人之間、中保也只有一位，就是作人的基督耶穌。他把自己獻出，替萬人做抵贖價，在適當時機就加以明證。

上帝囑咐我們向人民宣傳，鄭重地證明這人就是上帝所立定、要做活人死人之審判主的。眾神言人也為這人作見證說：『凡信靠他的，就可以藉着他的名而得罪赦。』』

而悔改以得罪赦之道、必須奉他的名傳給萬國，從耶路撒冷起；

她必生個兒子，你要給他起名叫耶穌，因為他必拯救他的人民脫離他們的罪。』

於是他對他們說：『你們往世界一切地方去，向一切被創造的人傳福音。信而受了洗的必得救；取了不信態度的必被定罪。

若有人在生命冊上沒被記名的、就被丟在火湖裏。

這些事以後我觀看，見有一大羣人，沒有人能數過來：從各邦國各族派各民族各種語言的人中間出來的；站在寶座和羔羊面前；披着白袍，手裏拿着棕樹枝。他們大聲喊着說：『拯救與得勝屬於坐寶座上的、我們的上帝，也屬於羔羊。』

那麼我們若輕忽了這麼大的拯救，怎能逃罪呢？因為這拯救是起初由主親自宣講，而被聽見的人向我們證為確定，

你們要謹慎，不要拒絕那向你們說話的；因為那些拒絕在地上傳神諭的尚且不能逃罪；我們若轉臉不顧那從天上傳神諭的、哪能逃罪呢？

我必使你的名代代都被記念；故此萬族之民必稱謝你、直到永永遠遠。

如果你們堅持着信仰、根基立定、牢牢固固、不被挪動離開福音之盼望，便能如此。這福音、你們已聽見了，就是在天下一切被創造的之中宣傳了的，我保羅作了它的僕役的。

誰跟我對抗，我還須與他講和呢？普天之下、都屬於我呀。」

水勢在地上極其浩大，普天下的高山都被淹沒了。

那時有猶太人——從天下各國來的虔誠人——住在耶路撒冷。
