“ What are we going to do with these men?” they asked.“ Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it.

After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.

When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language,“ The gods have come down to us in human form!”

“ I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”
