『看吧，永恆主大而可畏懼之日未到以前我必差遣神言人以利亞到你們這裏來。他必使父親的心回轉而向兒女，使兒女的心回轉而向父親，免得我來、以毁滅歸神的災禍擊打這地。』

我必重立你的審判官、像起初一樣，重立你的謀士如起先一般；以後你就必稱為公義之城，忠信可靠的都市。』

又詰問耶穌說：『經學士為甚麼說以利亞必須先來呢？』耶穌對他們說：『「以利亞先來、復興萬事！」那麼那指着人子、說他該受許多苦、並被藐視、是怎麼記載的呢？其實我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，人竟任意而待他，正如經上指着他所記載的。』

天使對我說：『這些話是可信可靠真實的話；主、神言人們之靈的上帝、差遣了他的使者、將必須快成的事指示他的僕人們。

耶穌回答說：『「以利亞來，要復興萬事！」我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，人卻不認得他，反倒任意待他；照樣，人子也將要在他們手下受苦了。』

他必坐着、作為熬煉銀子、使它潔淨者；他必使利未人潔淨，他必精煉他們像金子、像銀子，直到他們用對的供物獻與永恆主。那時猶大和耶路撒冷所獻的供物就蒙永恆主看為甜蜜，彷彿昔時之日、往古之年。』

讓你們記得聖的神言人們豫先說的話語、以及你們的使徒所傳授、主拯救者的誡命。

神言傳講的話從來都不是人意傳的，乃是被聖靈傳的，是人由上帝說出來的。

眾神言人也為這人作見證說：『凡信靠他的，就可以藉着他的名而得罪赦。』』

所以你們要悔改、回轉過來，使你們的罪得擦掉，使舒爽之時期從主面前來到，

天哪，聖眾使徒和神言人哪，因那城而歡躍吧！因為上帝已為你們伸雪而判罰她了。』
