Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

致主遣為爾預定之基督、即耶穌也、

主將遣所預言之耶穌基督、

如此則主必賜爾安舒之日至、且將遣為爾所預言之基督、即耶穌、

俾天主按其預定賜爾以基督耶穌之重降。

and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you— even Jesus.

He will send the Messiah. Jesus has been appointed as the Messiah for you.

that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,

and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:

and that He may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you– that is, Jesus.

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,

Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.

And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world— from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.“ Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place.Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory.

I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene before all these things take place.Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.And since you don’t know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!“ The coming of the Son of Man can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. When he left home, he gave each of his slaves instructions about the work they were to do, and he told the gatekeeper to watch for his return.You, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know when the master of the household will return— in the evening, at midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak.Don’t let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning.I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!”

Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said,“ Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?”

Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us.

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself.He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God.The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress.On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory.

so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.

For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!

The crowd was listening to everything Jesus said. And because he was nearing Jerusalem, he told them a story to correct the impression that the Kingdom of God would begin right away.
