and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,

致主遣為爾預定之基督、即耶穌也、

主將遣所預言之耶穌基督、

如此則主必賜爾安舒之日至、且將遣為爾所預言之基督、即耶穌、

俾天主按其預定賜爾以基督耶穌之重降。

and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you— even Jesus.

He will send the Messiah. Jesus has been appointed as the Messiah for you.

that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:

and that He may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you– that is, Jesus.

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,

Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.“ Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near;so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.“ But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.“ Watch out, stay alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is.It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay alert.Therefore, stay alert— for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—so that he does not come suddenly and find you asleep.What I say to you I say to all:‘ Stay alert!’ ”

And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying,“ Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written:“ KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every person according to his deeds.

because He has set a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all people by raising Him from the dead.”

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Now while they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem and they thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.
