And now, brethren, I know that in ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

“ Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

“ My fellow Israelites, I know you didn’t realize what you were doing. Neither did your leaders.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

“ Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance.

“ And now, brothers and sisters, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers also did.

“ Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did[ it], as[ did] also your rulers.

And now, brothers, I know you acted in ignorance, as your rulers did too.

“ Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

For they that dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.

And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;

And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory:

But if to live in the flesh,— if this shall bring fruit from my work, then what I shall choose I know not.

then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt- offering, for a sweet savor unto Jehovah, with the meal- offering thereof, and the drink- offering thereof, according to the ordinance, and one he- goat for a sin- offering.And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their oblation, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah, and their sin- offering before Jehovah, for their error:and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.And if one person sin unwittingly, then he shall offer a she- goat a year old for a sin- offering.And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that erreth, when he sinneth unwittingly, before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.Ye shall have one law for him that doeth aught unwittingly, for him that is home- born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home- born or a sojourner, the same blasphemeth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.Because he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

And lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Christ?Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence he is.

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

saying unto Aaron, Make us gods that shall go before us: for as for this Moses, who led us forth out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

I verily thought with myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

And Joseph said unto them, What deed is this that ye have done? know ye not that such a man as I can indeed divine?

God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel:

They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ.

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
