上帝藉着保羅的手行了非常的異能，甚至連手巾或圍巾也從他肌膚上被帶走，去放在患病的人身上，疾病就消退，惡靈也出來。

另有別人本着這同一的靈稟受深信之心；另有人本着這獨一的靈稟受行醫的恩賜；

他們能拿蛇；若喝了甚麼致命之物，也決不能傷害他們；他們給病人按手，病人就好了。

你們中間有患病的麼？他應該請教會的長老來，讓他們奉主的名用油抹他，為他禱告。有信心的祈禱必救治衰弱病人；主必使他起來；他若犯了罪，也必蒙赦免。所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，使你們得醫治，義人竭力的祈求是大有功效的。
