They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.

保羅進了會堂，放膽傳道，一連三個月講論並勸導人相信那些有關神國的事。

保羅照習慣進了會堂，一連三個安息日，引用經文向他們講論，講解並說明基督必須受難，然後從死人中復活，並且說：「我傳給你們的這位耶穌，就是基督。」

基督不是必須這樣受難，然後才進入他的榮耀嗎？」於是耶穌從摩西和所有的先知開始，向他們解釋了經上一切關於自己的話。

然而我蒙了從神而來的幫助，直到今天仍能站立得住，不但向卑微的，還向尊貴的做見證。我所講的，不外乎先知們和摩西所說的那些將要成就的事，就是基督要受難，要成為第一個從死人中復活的人，要把光傳給這子民和外邦人。」

因為他當眾強有力地駁倒猶太人，用經文證明耶穌是基督。

耶穌對他們說：「這就是我還與你們在一起的時候，對你們說過的話：摩西的律法、先知書和詩篇上所記的有關我的一切事，都必須應驗。」

腓利就開口，從這一段經文開始，向他傳講耶穌的福音。

現在我站在這裡受審，是因為盼望神已經賜給我們祖先的那應許。

有一個名叫猶圖克斯的年輕人坐在窗臺上，陷入了沉睡。保羅又講論了很久，猶圖克斯在沉睡中從三樓掉了下去，被扶起來的時候，已經死了。保羅下去，伏在他身上，抱著他說：「不要慌亂，他的靈魂還在身上！」保羅再上去，掰餅吃了，又交談了許久，直到天亮才出發。

耶穌對他們說：「我的食物就是遵行那派我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

每逢安息日，保羅就在會堂裡講論，勸導猶太人和希臘人。
