Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come;how that the Christ must suffer, and how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles.

for he powerfully confuted the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.

And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.

And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this scripture, preached unto him Jesus.

And now I stand here to be judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers;

And there sat in the window a certain young man named Eutychus, borne down with deep sleep; and as Paul discoursed yet longer, being borne down by his sleep he fell down from the third story, and was taken up dead.And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Make ye no ado; for his life is in him.And when he was gone up, and had broken the bread, and eaten, and had talked with them a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded Jews and Greeks.
