为这缘故，我请你们来见我当面谈话，我原是为以色列人所指望的那位才被这铁链捆绑的。”

为此，我才请你们来当面谈，我受捆绑是为了以色列人所盼望的那位。”

因此，我请你们来见面谈谈。我原是为了以色列的盼望，才带上这条锁链的。”

因这理由，我请你们来见面谈话。其实我是为了以色列所盼望的事，才被这锁链捆锁的。”

因此，我請你們來見面說話，我原為以色列人所指望的，被這鍊子捆鎖。」

為這緣故，我請你們來見我當面談話，我原是為以色列人所指望的那位才被這鐵鏈捆綁的。」

為這緣故，我請你們來見我當面談話，我原是為以色列人所指望的那位才被這鐵鏈捆綁的。」

為此，我才請你們來當面談，我受捆綁是為了以色列人所盼望的那位。」

因此，我請你們來見面談談。我原是為了以色列的盼望，才帶上這條鎖鍊的。”

為了這個緣故、我才請諸位來見面談談。我原是為了以色列的指望才掛着這鎖鍊的。』

因這理由，我請你們來見面談話。其實我是為了以色列所盼望的事，才被這鎖鏈捆鎖的。」

緣此、請爾相見相諭、蓋我為以色列所望者、乃為此鏈所繫、

為此、請爾曹相見互論、蓋我今繫以鐵索、特為以色列民所望之事耳、

為此我請爾曹相見敘論、我實為以色列民所望者被繫以此鐵索、

以是予邀汝等相見、與汝等言蓋予之所以鎯鐺被身者、乃為義塞人所共望之事耳。』

For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.”

I share Israel’s hope. That is why I am held with this chain. So I have asked to see you and talk with you.”

For this reason, therefore, I have asked to see you and speak with you, since it is because of the hope of Israel that I am wearing this chain.”

I asked you to come here today so we could get acquainted and so I could explain to you that I am bound with this chain because I believe that the hope of Israel— the Messiah— has already come.”

For this reason I’ve asked to see you and speak to you. In fact, it is for the hope of Israel that I’m wearing this chain.”

For this reason, therefore, I requested to see you and to speak with you, since I am wearing this chain for the sake of the hope of Israel.”

For this reason therefore I have called for you, to see you and speak with you, because for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.”

For this cause therefore did I entreat you to see and to speak with me: for because of the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

For this reason I’ve asked to see you and speak to you. In fact, it is for the hope of Israel that I’m wearing this chain.”

For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see[ you], and to speak with[ you]: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

So for this reason I have asked to see you and speak with you, for I am bound with this chain because of the hope of Israel.”

For this cause therefore I asked to see you and to speak with you. For because of the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.”

And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors that I am on trial today.This is the promise our twelve tribes are hoping to see fulfilled as they earnestly serve God day and night. King Agrippa, it is because of this hope that these Jews are accusing me. (niv)

Paul replied,“ Short time or long— I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.” (niv)

for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. (niv)

As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. (niv)

for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. (niv)

Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin,“ My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.” (niv)

The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. Then he asked who he was and what he had done. (niv)

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— (niv)

So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?” (niv)

and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. (niv)

So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.” (niv)

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. (niv)

I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. (niv)

that I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. (niv)

I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel. (niv)

Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them:“ My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans. (niv)

but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. (niv)
