他们禁止结婚，要求远避某些食物，就是神所创造的，好让信徒和了解真理的人以感谢的心享用。原来神所造的一切都是美好的；如果以感谢的心领受，就什么也不用丢弃，

我也要在君王们面前说出你的法度，并不致蒙羞。

耶稣就吩咐众人坐在地上，于是拿起这七个饼，祝谢以后，掰开，不断递给他的门徒们，让他们分发。门徒们就分给众人；

他们同心合意，不但天天恒切地在圣殿聚集，还在各家各户掰饼。他们怀着喜乐和诚恳的心用饭，赞美神，并且得到全体民众的喜爱。主就在那里使得救的人与日俱增。

你们一进城就会遇见他——那时正是他登上高所用餐之前；民众不会在他来到之前吃，一定要等他为祭物祝谢了才吃；之后客人才开始吃。现在上去吧，因为你们立刻就会遇见他。”

所以你不要以有关我们主的见证为耻，也不要以我——这主的囚犯为耻，而要藉着神的大能，为福音与我同受苦难。

耶稣就拿起饼来，祝谢以后，分给那些坐着的人，把鱼也如此分了，他们要多少就给多少。

注重某一天的人，是为主而注重的；吃的人，是为主而吃的，因为他感谢神；不吃的人，也是为主不吃的，他也感谢神。

当耶稣与他们一同坐席的时候，他拿起饼来，祝福了，然后掰开递给他们。

因这理由，我也正在经受这些苦；然而我并不以为耻，因为我知道我信的是谁，也深信他能保守我所受的托付，直到那日。

的确，我不以福音为耻，因为这福音是神的大能，把救恩带给一切相信的人，先是犹太人、后是外邦人。

但如果有人因为是基督徒而受苦，他不应该感到羞耻，反要奉这名来荣耀神；

如果我怀着感恩的心领受，难道有什么能使我为所感谢的东西而受到毁谤吗？因此，你们无论或吃、或喝、或做什么，一切都要为神的荣耀而做。
