祂拿着那七个饼和几条鱼祝谢后，掰开，递给门徒，门徒再分给大家。

禁止人结婚和吃某些食物。其实那些食物是上帝创造的，为了让相信并且明白真理的人存感谢的心领受。上帝所造的一切都是美好的，若以感恩的心去领受，就无需任何禁忌，

所以，你不要羞于为我们的主做见证，也不要以我这为主被囚的人为耻，要靠着上帝的能力和我一同为福音受苦。

后来有几条从提比哩亚来的小船停泊在岸边，靠近主祝谢后让众人吃饼的地方。
