所以同人們，你們要振作精神；我信上帝，我信所告訴我的怎樣，事情也必怎樣。

故諸君宜安爾心、我信上帝、我儕所遇者、必如所言也、

故當安心、予信上帝、必如所言、

故爾曹皆可安心、我信天主如是許我、亦必如是施行、

以是諸君儘可安心；予信天主；彼所言者、事在必成。

So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.

And when they had been long without food, then Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have set sail from Crete, and have gotten this injury and loss.And now I exhort you to be of good cheer; for there shall be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem: believe in Jehovah your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Then were they all of good cheer, and themselves also took food.
