and said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul! You must stand before Caesar, and God has graciously granted you the safety of all who are sailing with you.’

and said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’

The angel said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul. You must go on trial in front of Caesar. God has shown his grace by sparing the lives of all those sailing with you.’

and he said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

and he said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’

and said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. It is necessary for you to appear before Caesar. And indeed, God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’

saying,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has graciously granted you all those who are sailing with you.’

saying,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must stand before Cæsar: and lo, God hath granted thee all them that sail with thee.

and said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And, look! God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’

Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

saying,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. Behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said,“ Have courage, for just as you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

At my first defense no one appeared in my support; instead they all deserted me– may they not be held accountable for it.But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed for all the Gentiles to hear. And so I was delivered from the lion’s mouth!

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Abraham approached and said,“ Will you sweep away the godly along with the wicked?What if there are fifty godly people in the city? Will you really wipe it out and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty godly people who are in it?Far be it from you to do such a thing– to kill the godly with the wicked, treating the godly and the wicked alike! Far be it from you! Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?”So the LORD replied,“ If I find in the city of Sodom fifty godly people, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”Then Abraham asked,“ Since I have undertaken to speak to the Lord( although I am but dust and ashes),what if there are five less than the fifty godly people? Will you destroy the whole city because five are lacking?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”Abraham spoke to him again,“ What if forty are found there?” He replied,“ I will not do it for the sake of the forty.”Then Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak! What if thirty are found there?” He replied,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”Abraham said,“ Since I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty are found there?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.”Finally Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

So when God destroyed the cities of the region, God honored Abraham’s request. He removed Lot from the midst of the destruction when he destroyed the cities Lot had lived in.

( We were in all two hundred seventy- six persons on the ship.)

Then I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great, so that you will exemplify divine blessing.

When I saw him I fell down at his feet as though I were dead, but he placed his right hand on me and said:“ Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last,

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, because this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before Gentiles and kings and the people of Israel.

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:“ Fear not, Abram! I am your shield and the one who will reward you in great abundance.”

He replied,“ Don’t be afraid, for our side outnumbers them.”

Now, this is what the LORD says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel:“ Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you. I call you by name, you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you.For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer. I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price, Ethiopia and Seba in place of you.Since you are precious and special in my sight, and I love you, I will hand over people in place of you, nations in place of your life.Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. From the east I will bring your descendants; from the west I will gather you.

“ Very well,” he replied,“ I will grant this request too and will not overthrow the town you mentioned.Run there quickly, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there.”( This incident explains why the town was called Zoar.)

Those survivors from Jacob will live in the midst of many nations. They will be like the dew the LORD sends, like the rain on the grass, that does not hope for men to come or wait around for humans to arrive.

and the rest were to follow, some on planks and some on pieces of the ship. And in this way all were brought safely to land.

But Laban said to him,“ If I have found favor in your sight, please stay here, for I have learned by divination that the LORD has blessed me on account of you.”

So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

If then I am in the wrong and have done anything that deserves death, I am not trying to escape dying, but if not one of their charges against me is true, no one can hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!”

The LORD will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.Your perpetual ruins will be rebuilt; you will reestablish the ancient foundations. You will be called,‘ The one who repairs broken walls, the one who makes the streets inhabitable again.’

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you! Don’t be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you– yes, I help you– yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!Look, all who were angry at you will be ashamed and humiliated; your adversaries will be reduced to nothing and perish.When you will look for your opponents, you will not find them; your enemies will be reduced to absolutely nothing.For I am the LORD your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’Don’t be afraid, despised insignificant Jacob, men of Israel. I am helping you,” says the LORD, your protector, the Holy One of Israel.

From the time Potiphar appointed him over his household and over all that he owned, the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s household for Joseph’s sake. The blessing of the LORD was on everything that he had, both in his house and in his fields.

The warden did not concern himself with anything that was in Joseph’s care because the LORD was with him and whatever he was doing the LORD was making successful.

Jesus replied,“ Are there not twelve hours in a day? If anyone walks around in the daytime, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

And you will be brought before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them and the Gentiles.

Elijah said to her,“ Don’t be afraid. Go and do as you planned. But first make a small cake for me and bring it to me; then make something for yourself and your son.

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and completely consumes their enemies. If anyone wants to harm them, they must be killed this way.These two have the power to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the time they are prophesying. They have power to turn the waters to blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague whenever they want.When they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer them and kill them.

Now after all these things had taken place, Paul resolved to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. He said,“ After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

The Lord said to Paul by a vision in the night,“ Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent,because I am with you, and no one will assault you to harm you, because I have many people in this city.”
