又曰、今海震盪愈甚、當若何待爾、則風浪可息。曰、取我身擲於海、則海之震盪立止、蓋我知緣我之故、爾遭颶風。眾力鼓櫂近岸、波濤洶湧、不得至、遂禱耶和華曰、耶和華隨意而作、勿為斯人、使我殞亡、如我擲之於海、勿視我若殺無辜。

余三次受杖、一次石擊、三次舟壞、一日一夜、余在深海、

主謂我曰、人子、此骨譬諸以色列全家、彼曰我命已喪、我骨已枯、我望已絕。

適於遠方、不免困憊、惟蒙輔翼、不至喪膽、不至觖望。

我欲兄弟知、已死者勿為之憂、效絕望者所為、

勿作惡、以致足跣口渴。然爾曰、毋庸勸我、崇他上帝、弗能已焉。

耶和華諭摩西曰、以手指天、使埃及晦冥、暗中摸索。摩西指天、遍埃及地杳冥幽暗、至於三日。三日間、人不得相見、弗能出戶、惟以色列族宅有輝光。○

耶和華使大風驟起、海盪甚、舟幾溺、

主降厥命、狂風驟起、波騰浪湧兮、維彼舟子、倏而隨之起、有若升於穹蒼、倏而隨之下、有若墮於海底兮、因其危險、厥魂喪失兮、搖撼不定、譬彼醉人、無所施其技兮、

主使遍地晦冥、無不應命兮、
