Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.Yes, we are also found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised.If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

but had certain questions against him about their own religion, and about one Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

But Jesus answered them,“ You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,‘ I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’ God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

For nothing spoken by God is impossible.”
