Agrippa said to Paul,“ With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”

亞基帕王謂保羅曰、爾言幾使我為基督徒矣、

亞基帕語葆樂曰：『吾之不被汝勸化、而為基督之徒也幾希！』

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

Then Agrippa spoke to Paul.“ Are you trying to talk me into becoming a Christian?” he said.“ Do you think you can do that in such a short time?”

And Agrippa said to Paul,“ In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?”

Agrippa interrupted him.“ Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Agrippa replied to Paul,“ In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian of myself.”

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

And Agrippa said unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian.

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Agrippa said to Paul,“ In such a short time are you persuading me to become a Christian?”

When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

Paul said,“ I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”

As he reasoned about righteousness, self- control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered,“ Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him,“ Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good except one— God.You know the commandments:‘ Do not murder,’‘ Do not commit adultery,’‘ Do not steal,’‘ Do not give false testimony,’‘ Do not defraud,’‘ Honor your father and mother.’”He said to him,“ Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him,“ One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”But his face fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful, for he was one who had great possessions.

But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.

for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. When he heard him, he did many things, and he heard him gladly.
