Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

亚基帕对保罗说：“你想用这样短短的时间就可以说服我作基督徒吗！”

阿格里帕对保罗说：“你用几句话就要说服我成为基督徒吗？”

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想少微一勸，便叫我作基督徒啊！」

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想稍微勸一勸就能說服我作基督徒了嗎？」

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想稍微勸一勸就能說服我作基督徒了嗎？」

阿格里帕對保羅說：「你用幾句話就要說服我成為基督徒嗎？」

亞基帕謂保羅曰、爾以少許之勸勉、令我為基督徒耶、

亞基帕謂保羅曰、爾幾使我為基督徒矣、

亞基帕王謂保羅曰、爾言幾使我為基督徒矣、

亞基帕語葆樂曰：『吾之不被汝勸化、而為基督之徒也幾希！』

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

Then Agrippa spoke to Paul.“ Are you trying to talk me into becoming a Christian?” he said.“ Do you think you can do that in such a short time?”

And Agrippa said to Paul,“ In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?”

Agrippa interrupted him.“ Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Agrippa replied to Paul,“ In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian of myself.”

And Agrippa said unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian.

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Agrippa said to Paul,“ In such a short time are you persuading me to become a Christian?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”

And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.

So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.

And Paul said,“ I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered,“ Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.”

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him,“ Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”So Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.You know the commandments:‘ Do not commit adultery,’‘ Do not murder,’‘ Do not steal,’‘ Do not bear false witness,’‘ Do not defraud,’‘ Honor your father and your mother.’”And he answered and said to Him,“ Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him,“ One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
