Agrippa said to Paul,“ In such a short time are you persuading me to become a Christian?”

亚基帕对保罗说：“你想用这样短短的时间就可以说服我作基督徒吗！”

阿格里帕对保罗说：“你用几句话就要说服我成为基督徒吗？”

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想少微一勸，便叫我作基督徒啊！」

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想稍微勸一勸就能說服我作基督徒了嗎？」

亞基帕對保羅說：「你想稍微勸一勸就能說服我作基督徒了嗎？」

亞基帕王對保羅說：「難道你想三言兩語就說服我成為基督徒嗎？」

亞基帕對保羅說：“你想用這樣短短的時間就可以說服我作基督徒嗎！”

亞基帕對保羅說：『你想用幾句話勸誘我做基督徒麼？』

阿格里帕對保羅說：「你用幾句話就要說服我成為基督徒嗎？」

亞基帕謂保羅曰、爾以少許之勸勉、令我為基督徒耶、

亞基帕謂保羅曰、爾幾使我為基督徒矣、

亞基帕王謂保羅曰、爾言幾使我為基督徒矣、

亞基帕語葆樂曰：『吾之不被汝勸化、而為基督之徒也幾希！』

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

Then Agrippa spoke to Paul.“ Are you trying to talk me into becoming a Christian?” he said.“ Do you think you can do that in such a short time?”

And Agrippa said to Paul,“ In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?”

Agrippa interrupted him.“ Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Agrippa replied to Paul,“ In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian of myself.”

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

And Agrippa said unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian.

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Agrippa said to Paul,“ With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”

and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught a significant number of people. Now it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians.

But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God.

And you will be brought before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them and the Gentiles.

They come to you in crowds, and they sit in front of you as my people. They hear your words, but do not obey them. For they talk lustfully, and their heart is set on their own advantage.

Paul replied,“ I pray to God that whether in a short or a long time not only you but also all those who are listening to me today could become such as I am, except for these chains.”

While Paul was discussing righteousness, self- control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said,“ Go away for now, and when I have an opportunity, I will send for you.”

For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror.For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was.

Now as Jesus was starting out on his way, someone ran up to him, fell on his knees, and said,“ Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.You know the commandments:‘ Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.’”The man said to him,“ Teacher, I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws since my youth.”As Jesus looked at him, he felt love for him and said,“ You lack one thing. Go, sell whatever you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”But at this statement, the man looked sad and went away sorrowful, for he was very rich.

But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear such a name.

because Herod stood in awe of John and protected him, since he knew that John was a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard him, he was thoroughly baffled, and yet he liked to listen to John.
