只有一些從亞細亞省來的猶太人——如果對我有什麼控告，應該是他們到您面前來控告。

他說：「猶太人已經說好，要請求你明天把保羅帶到議會去，假裝要更詳盡地查問他的事。

他甚至試圖玷汙聖殿，我們就把他拘捕了。我們本來想按照我們的律法審判他，

但他們的陰謀卻被掃羅知道了。於是他們就日夜嚴守著各城門，要殺掉他。

天亮了，猶太人就策劃了一起陰謀，並且賭咒起誓說，殺掉保羅以前，就不吃不喝。

他又說：「所以你們中間有權的人都與我一起下去；如果這個人有什麼過錯，就當控告他。」菲斯特斯在他們那裡住了不超過十天八天，就下到凱撒里亞去了。第二天，他坐在審判席上，下令把保羅帶上來。

最後，弟兄們，你們要歡喜！願你們得以完全，願你們得到安慰！你們要同心合意，要彼此和睦。這樣，慈愛與平安的神就會與你們同在。

就是要遠避祭過偶像的食物，遠避血和勒死的動物，遠避淫亂。你們如果保守自己遠離這些，就做得很好了。祝你們安康！」
