他说：“那些犹太人约好了，要请求你明天带保罗到公会受审，假装要详细审问他的事。

企图玷污圣殿，被我们抓住了。我们想按照犹太律法处置他，不料吕西亚千夫长却硬把他从我们手中抢走，并命令告他的人到大人这里来。大人亲自审问他，就会知道我们告他的事了。”

他们昼夜在城门守候，伺机下手，但这阴谋被扫罗知道了。

天亮后，犹太人设下阴谋，并起誓说：“不杀保罗，誓不吃喝！”

让你们的首领跟我一起去吧，如果那人有什么过犯，可以在那里告他。”非斯都在耶路撒冷只逗留了十天八天，便返回了凯撒利亚。第二天，他开庭审讯，命人将保罗带上来。

最后，弟兄姊妹，我还有几句话要说：你们要喜乐，追求完善，接受劝勉，同心合意，和睦共处。这样，仁爱和平的上帝必常与你们同在。

要远避祭拜偶像的事，不可吃血，不可吃勒死的牲畜，不可淫乱。你们一一遵守这些事就好了。祝平安！”
