方伯以首示意、使保羅言、保羅遂曰、我知爾為斯民聽訟多年、故尤樂自訴也、我上耶路撒冷崇拜、僅十有二日、爾可問而知、彼未嘗見我在聖殿、或在會堂、或在邑中與人爭辯、集眾生亂、今訟我之事、彼無所據、惟有一事、我承認於爾前、即彼所謂異道者、我循之而崇事我列祖之天主、惟信律法與先知之所載、且賴天主以望死者、無論義與不義、俱將復活、彼亦共有此望、因此我自勉勵、對天主、對世人、常存不虧之心、歷多年後、我方歸、以施濟本國之民、又欲獻祭、我既自潔入殿以行此事、未集眾、未生亂、有自亞西亞來之數猶太人、見我在殿、彼若有可告我者、當至此、在爾前訟我、抑此訟我者、曾見我立於公會前時、有何不法、言之可也、如或有之、亦惟一言、即立於眾中、呼曰、我為死者復活之道、今日被爾審也、○
