And he said, The Jews have agreed to ask thee to bring down Paul tomorrow unto the council, as though thou wouldest inquire somewhat more exactly concerning him.

他說：「那些猶太人約好了，要請求你明天帶保羅到公會受審，假裝要詳細審問他的事。

他說：『猶太人已經約定，要求千夫長明天將保羅帶下去到議院，好像要稍微更詳確地查問他、的樣子。

他說：「猶太人已經說好，要請求你明天把保羅帶到議會去，假裝要更詳盡地查問他的事。

曰、猶太人相約、求爾明日曳保羅至公會、若將詳詰其情者、

曰、猶太人約、請爾明日、曳保羅至公會、言欲詳問其情、

對曰、猶太人同議、求爾明日曳保羅至公會、言欲詳問其情、

曰：『猶太人已有密約、乞汝准予明日解葆樂至公會、佯言欲詳究其事、

He said:“ Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul before the Sanhedrin tomorrow on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about him.

He said,“ Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul to the Sanhedrin tomorrow. They will pretend they want more facts about him.

And he said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire somewhat more closely about him.

Paul’s nephew told him,“ Some Jews are going to ask you to bring Paul before the high council tomorrow, pretending they want to get some more information.

“ The Jews,” he said,“ have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the Sanhedrin tomorrow, as though they are going to hold a somewhat more careful inquiry about him.

And he said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down tomorrow to the Council, as though they were going to inquire somewhat more thoroughly about him.

And he said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire more fully about him.

“ The Jews,” he said,“ have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the Sanhedrin tomorrow, as though they are going to hold a somewhat more careful inquiry about him.

And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.

He replied,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as if they were going to inquire more thoroughly about him.

He said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though intending to inquire somewhat more accurately concerning him.

And they came to the chief priests and the elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.Now therefore do ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you, as though ye would judge of his case more exactly: and we, before he comes near, are ready to slay him.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.Then these presidents and satraps assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.All the presidents of the kingdom, the deputies and the satraps, the counsellors and the governors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a strong interdict, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the interdict.And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house( now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.Then these men assembled together, and found Daniel making petition and supplication before his God.Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s interdict: Hast thou not signed an interdict, that every man that shall make petition unto any god or man within thirty days, save unto thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

And Paul, looking stedfastly on the council, said, Brethren, I have lived before God in all good conscience until this day.

They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.
