保罗定睛看着公议会的各人，说：“各位弟兄，我在神面前，行事为人一向都是凭着良心的。”

Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said,“ My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.”

Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin.“ My brothers,” he said,“ I have always done my duty to God. To this day I feel that I have done nothing wrong.”

And looking intently at the council, Paul said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day.”

Gazing intently at the high council, Paul began:“ Brothers, I have always lived before God with a clear conscience!”

Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience to this day.”

Now looking intently at the Council, Paul said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life with an entirely good conscience before God up to this day.”

Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said,“ Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.”

And Paul, looking stedfastly on the council, said, Brethren, I have lived before God in all good conscience until this day.

Paul looked intently at the Sanhedrin and said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience until this day.”

And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men[ and] brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

Paul looked directly at the council and said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life with a clear conscience before God to this day.”

Paul, looking steadfastly at the council, said,“ Brothers, I have lived before God in all good conscience until today.”

我感谢神，就是我像我祖先一样，以清洁的良心所事奉的神，在祷告中昼夜不断地记念你；

因此，我常常勉励自己，对神对人要常存无亏的良心。

我们引以为荣的，就是我们处世为人，是本着神的圣洁和真诚，不是靠着人的聪明，而是靠着神的恩典，对你们更是这样，这是我们的良心可以作证的。

这是大祭司和全公议会都可以给我作证的。我也从他们那里得到了写给众弟兄的信，就去大马士革，要把那里的人捆绑起来，带到耶路撒冷接受惩罚。

我虽然问心无愧，却不能因此自以为义，因为判断我的是主。

请为我们祷告，因为我们深信自己良心无亏，愿意凡事遵行正道。

保罗看出其中一部分是撒都该人，另一部分是法利赛人，就在公议会中大声说：“我是法利赛人，也是法利赛人的子孙，我现在受审，是为了盼望死人复活！”

却把暗昧可耻的事弃绝了；不行诡诈，不掺混神的道，反而藉着显扬真理，在神面前把自己推荐给众人的良心。

但要用温柔敬畏的心回答。当存无愧的良心，使那些诬赖你们这在基督里有好品行的人，在毁谤你们的事上蒙羞。

第二天，千夫长为要知道犹太人控告保罗的真相，就解开他，召集了祭司长和公议会全体在一起，把保罗带下来，叫他站在他们面前。

恶人虽然没有人追赶，仍然逃跑；义人却像狮子，放胆无惧。

当时，坐在公议会里的人，都注视他，见他的面貌像天使一样。

“各位父老弟兄，请听听我现在对你们的申辩。”
