I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me,‘ Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’

我仆倒在地上，听见有声音对我说：‘扫罗，扫罗，你为什么迫害我？’

我就仆倒在地上，听见有声音对我说：‘扫罗，扫罗！你为什么逼迫我？’

我就仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對我說：『掃羅！掃羅！你為甚麼逼迫我？』

我就仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對我說：『掃羅！掃羅！你為甚麼迫害我？』

我即仆地、聞有聲謂我曰、掃羅、掃羅、爾何窘逐我、

予即仆地、聞有聲語予曰：「掃羅掃羅！相迫何甚！」

I fell to the ground and heard a voice speak to me.‘ Saul! Saul!’ it said.‘ Why are you opposing me?’

And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’

and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’

And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’

Then I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,‘ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’

But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven,“ Abraham! Abraham!”“ Here I am,” he replied.

Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.

“ Yet you have not called on me, Jacob, you have not wearied yourselves for me, Israel.You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings, nor honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with grain offerings nor wearied you with demands for incense.You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me, or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your offenses.“ I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence.

And he said,“ Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?”“ I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered.

“ He will reply,‘ Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

“ Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder,“ Crucify him!”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush,“ Moses! Moses!” And Moses said,“ Here I am.”

Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him,“ Abraham!”“ Here I am,” he replied.

The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times,“ Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said,“ Speak, for your servant is listening.”

“ Therefore I bring charges against you again,” declares the Lord.“ And I will bring charges against your children’s children.

This is what the Lord says:“ What fault did your ancestors find in me, that they strayed so far from me? They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves.

But the Lord God called to the man,“ Where are you?”
