保罗到了台阶下面的时候，士兵把他抬起来，因为群众猛挤，

在耶稣的头以上有一个牌子写着：“这是犹太人的王。”

彼拉多听了这些话，就把耶稣带到外面，到了一个名叫“铺石地”（希伯来话叫加巴大）的地方，就在那里开庭审问。

门徒不断增加的时候，讲希腊话的犹太人，埋怨本地的希伯来人，因为在日常的供给上，忽略了他们的寡妇。

保罗就站起来，作了一个手势，说：“以色列人和敬畏神的人，请听！

他们把耶稣带去了。耶稣自己背着十字架出来，到了一个名叫“髑髅”的地方，希伯来话叫各各他。

他们就急忙把自己的衣服放在他脚下的上层（“上层”原文意思不详，或译：“没有装饰的”）台阶上，然后吹响号角宣告：“耶户作王了。”

有许多犹太人念了这牌子上所写的，因为耶稣钉十字架的地方离城不远，而且那牌子是用希伯来文、拉丁文和希腊文写的。

它们有无底坑的使者作王统治它们。这王的名字，希伯来话叫阿巴顿，希腊话叫阿波伦。

污灵就把众王聚集在一个地方，希伯来话叫哈米吉多顿。

犹太人把亚历山大推到前面，群众中有人把这事的因由告诉他。亚历山大作了一个手势，要向民众申辩。
