As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the barracks, he asked the commander,“ May I say something to you?”“ Do you speak Greek?” he replied.

因为我必赐你们口才、智慧，是你们一切敌人所敌不住、驳不倒的。

保罗想要进去，到百姓那里，门徒却不许他去。

并且你们要为我的缘故被送到诸侯君王面前，对他们和外邦人作见证。你们被交的时候，不要思虑怎样说话，或说什么话。到那时候，必赐给你们当说的话；因为不是你们自己说的，乃是你们父的灵在你们里头说的。

众人有喊叫这个的，有喊叫那个的；千夫长因为这样乱嚷，得不着实情，就吩咐人将保罗带进营楼去。

保罗问了他们安，便将神用他传教，在外邦人中间所行之事，一一地述说了。
