大利拉就用新绳捆绑他，对他说：“参孙哪，非利士人拿你来了！”有人预先埋伏在内室里。参孙将臂上的绳挣断了，如挣断一条线一样。

于是非利士人的首领拿了七条未干的青绳子来，交给妇人，她就用绳子捆绑参孙。

非利士人将他拿住，剜了他的眼睛，带他下到迦萨，用铜链拘索他；他就在监里推磨。

愿主怜悯阿尼色弗一家的人；因他屡次使我畅快，不以我的锁链为耻，

我对他们说，无论什么人，被告还没有和原告对质，未得机会分诉所告他的事，就先定他的罪，这不是罗马人的条例。

他们说：“我们断不杀你，只要将你捆绑交在非利士人手中。”于是用两条新绳捆绑参孙，将他从以坦磐带上去。

彼拉多就出来，到他们那里，说：“你们告这人是为什么事呢？”他们回答说：“这人若不是作恶的，我们就不把他交给你。”

保罗说：“无论是少劝是多劝，我向神所求的，不但你一个人，就是今天一切听我的，都要像我一样，只是不要像我有这些锁链。”

我为这福音受苦难，甚至被捆绑，像犯人一样。然而神的道却不被捆绑。

千夫长就吩咐将保罗带进营楼去，叫人用鞭子拷问他，要知道他们向他这样喧嚷是为什么缘故。刚用皮条捆上，保罗对旁边站着的百夫长说：“人是罗马人，又没有定罪，你们就鞭打他，有这个例吗？”
