于是大利拉把新绳子拿了来，把参孙捆绑了，对他说：“参孙哪，非利士人上来捉你了！”当时有人埋伏在她的内室里等候着。参孙把绳子从手臂上挣断下来，像挣断一根线一样。

于是非利士人的领袖把七条未干的青绳子，带上来给那妇人，她就用那些绳子把参孙捆绑起来。

非利士人把他捉住，剜去了他的眼睛，带他下到迦萨，用铜链捆绑着他，他就在监牢里推磨。

愿主赐怜悯给阿尼色弗一家的人，因为他多次使我畅快，也不以我的锁链为耻；

我答覆他们说，被告还没有和原告当面对证，又没有机会为所控的罪申辩，就被送给对方，罗马人没有这个规例。

他们告诉他说：“我们不会杀害你，我们只要把你捆绑住，交在非利士人手里，我们决不杀死你。”于是他们用两条新绳子把参孙捆绑起来，从磐石的穴里把他带上来。

于是彼拉多走到外面见他们，说：“你们控告这个人什么呢？”他们回答：“如果这个人没有作恶，我们就不会把他交给你。”

保罗说：“无论时间短也好，时间长也好，我向神所求的，不单是你，而且是今天所有的听众，都能像我一样作基督徒，只是不要有这些锁链。”

我为了这福音受了磨难，甚至像犯人一样被捆绑起来；可是，神的话却不被捆绑。

千夫长下令把保罗带到营楼去，吩咐人用鞭子拷问他，要知道群众为什么这样向他喊叫。士兵正用皮带绑他的时候，保罗对站在旁边的百夫长说：“你们鞭打一个还没有定罪的罗马公民，是合法的吗？”
