They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.

They have been told that you teach Jews to turn away from the Law of Moses. You teach this to the Jews who live among the Gentiles. They think that you teach those Jews not to circumcise their children. They think that you teach them to give up our Jewish ways.

喊叫说：“以色列人来帮助，这就是在各处教训众人糟践我们百姓和律法，并这地方的。他又带着希腊人进殿，污秽了这圣地。”（

我虽是自由的，无人辖管；然而我甘心作了众人的仆人，为要多得人。向犹太人，我就作犹太人，为要得犹太人；向律法以下的人，我虽不在律法以下，还是作律法以下的人，为要得律法以下的人。向没有律法的人，我就作没有律法的人，为要得没有律法的人；其实我在神面前，不是没有律法；在基督面前，正在律法之下。

过了三天，保罗请犹太人的首领来。他们来了，就对他们说：“弟兄们，我虽没有做什么事干犯本国的百姓和我们祖宗的规条，却被锁绑，从耶路撒冷解在罗马人的手里。

基督释放了我们，叫我们得以自由。所以要站立得稳，不要再被奴仆的轭挟制。我保罗告诉你们，若受割礼，基督就与你们无益了。我再指着凡受割礼的人确实地说，他是欠着行全律法的债。你们这要靠律法称义的，是与基督隔绝，从恩典中坠落了。我们靠着圣灵，凭着信心，等候所盼望的义。原来在基督耶稣里，受割礼不受割礼全无功效，惟独使人生发仁爱的信心才有功效。

信心软弱的，你们要接纳，但不要辩论所疑惑的事。有人信百物都可吃；但那软弱的，只吃蔬菜。吃的人不可轻看不吃的人；不吃的人不可论断吃的人；因为神已经收纳他了。你是谁，竟论断别人的仆人呢？他或站住或跌倒，自有他的主人在；而且他也必要站住，因为主能使他站住。有人看这日比那日强；有人看日日都是一样。只是各人心里要意见坚定。守日的人是为主守的。吃的人是为主吃的，因他感谢神；不吃的人是为主不吃的，也感谢神。

“所以据我的意见，不可难为那归服神的外邦人；只要写信，吩咐他们禁戒偶像的污秽和奸淫，并勒死的牲畜和血。因为从古以来，摩西的书在各城有人传讲，每逢安息日，在会堂里诵读。”

设下假见证，说：“这个人说话，不住地糟践圣所和律法。我们曾听见他说，这拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏此地，也要改变摩西所交给我们的规条。”

有人已受割礼蒙召呢，就不要废割礼；有人未受割礼蒙召呢，就不要受割礼。受割礼算不得什么，不受割礼也算不得什么，只要守神的诫命就是了。

保罗要带他同去，只因那些地方的犹太人都知道他父亲是希腊人，就给他行了割礼。
