Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Then the king instructed Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, He will bring me back and allow me to see both it and its dwelling place.However, if He should say,‘ I do not delight in you,’ then here I am— He can do with me whatever pleases Him.”

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“ The word of the Lord that you have spoken is good,” for he thought: Why not, if there will be peace and security during my lifetime?

May God Almighty cause the man to be merciful to you so that he will release your other brother and Benjamin to you. As for me, if I am deprived of my sons, then I am deprived.”

So Samuel told him everything and did not hide anything from him. Eli responded,“ He is the Lord. He will do what He thinks is good.”
