葆樂曰：『何事痛泣、令我傷心？吾因主名、不第被縛、即舍身於耶路撒冷、亦所欣願。』

保罗说：“你们为什么这样痛哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被人捆绑，就是死在耶路撒冷也是愿意的。”

于是保罗回答：“你们为什么这样痛哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被人捆绑，就是死在耶路撒冷也是愿意的。”

于是保罗回答：“你们为什么这样痛哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被人捆绑，就是死在耶路撒冷也是愿意的。”

但保罗说：“你们为什么这样哭泣，令我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名甘愿受捆绑，甚至死在耶路撒冷。”

保罗却回答：“你们为什么哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被捆绑，就算死在耶路撒冷我也都准备好了。”

这时候保罗说：“你们为什么哭，使我心碎呢？我为了主耶稣的名，不仅被捆绑，即使死在耶路撒冷，也都预备好了。”

保羅說：「你們為甚麼這樣痛哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被人捆綁，就是死在耶路撒冷也是願意的。」

於是保羅回答：「你們為甚麼這樣痛哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被人捆綁，就是死在耶路撒冷也是願意的。」

於是保羅回答：「你們為甚麼這樣痛哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被人捆綁，就是死在耶路撒冷也是願意的。」

但保羅說：「你們為什麼這樣哭泣，令我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名甘願受捆綁，甚至死在耶路撒冷。」

保羅卻回答：“你們為甚麼哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被捆綁，就算死在耶路撒冷我也都準備好了。”

於是保羅回答說：『你們幹麼哭、使我心碎呢？為了主耶穌的名、不但被捆綁、就是死在耶路撒冷、我都準備作的。』

這時候保羅說：「你們為什麼哭，使我心碎呢？我為了主耶穌的名，不僅被捆綁，即使死在耶路撒冷，也都預備好了。」

保羅曰、爾曹胡為哭泣而摧我心乎、我為主耶穌名、不第受縛、即死於耶路撒冷、亦甘心也、

保羅曰、爾曹胡為哭、而摧我心、我甘為主耶穌名不第受縛、即死於耶路撒冷、亦可、

保羅曰、爾何為哭而摧我心、我敢為主耶穌之名、不第受縛、即死於耶路撒冷亦可、

Then Paul answered,“ Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

He asked,“ Why are you crying? Why are you breaking my heart? I’m ready to be put in prison. In fact, I’m ready to die in Jerusalem for the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul answered,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

But he said,“ Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul answered,“ What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then Paul answered,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

不寧惟是、苟能有補於爾等之信德、即須傾流吾血、以作獻祭之酒、亦所甘心；且將因爾等之樂而樂焉。

亦所以償吾心期、終不致有所愧忝。因是平生勇氣、至今未衰。必欲獻吾之身、以弘基督。生可也、死亦可也。自予觀之、生是基督死是福、如是而已矣。

孰能間吾人於基督之愛乎？將貧賤憂戚、飢寒困窮乎？抑災患艱危、白刃窘迫乎？詩云：『正惟為主故、吾人日見殺；一如屠家羊默默待宰割。』雖然、賴愛我者之大力、吾人已戰勝一切災害、且綽綽乎有餘裕矣。

須知予已準備舍生致命矣。予之解脫、即在目前；

兄弟乎、爾等非我在耶穌基督身上之光榮乎？吾敢憑斯光榮而誓曰：我實無日不處死地。

蓋渠懷爾甚切曩者因爾等聞其嬰疾、

故予樂為爾等遭受苦難、且吾身所遭受者、實足以補基督苦難之所缺也。夫教會者、基督之體也；予既為教會之公僕、則為此體親嘗其苦難、

且知吾之脫離此宅、即在目前、正如吾主耶穌之所預示也。

眾皆痛哭、抱葆樂之頸與之吻；

爾既守吾寬忍之道、吾亦當於全世之人遭受試練時、保爾於難。

諸兄弟賴羔羊之血、毅然為聖道作證、舍命不渝、從容就死；故能克服頑敵、終獲致勝。

宗徒既離公會、心竊自喜、竟蒙特寵、得為聖名而受辱、何樂如之。

恆體耶穌之死、亦欲體耶穌之生也。蓋吾人雖有生、實無時不為耶穌而死、庶幾吾人血肉之軀、亦得載耶穌之生、而顯揚之耳。總之、吾人之死、亦所以促進爾等之生也。雖然、經不云乎、『中心所信、不能不言。』吾人既具此信仰精神、亦曰中心所信、不能不言而已矣。吾人固知使耶穌復活之天主、亦必使吾人因耶穌而復活、且使我儕得與爾同立其前。蓋萬事莫非為爾等之故、亦欲使聖寵廣被元元、俾萬眾一心、稱謝天主之光榮云耳。因此吾人中心不餒；外形雖萎、而靈心則日新又新矣。蓋目前所受之區區苦痛、所以為吾人作成無量之榮福也。

夫從軍者、欲得其長官之獎許、必專心一志、不以雜務自累。競賽者欲奪得錦標、亦必嚴守紀律、弗違規章。嘉禾初熟、農夫先嘗其粒者、亦恃平日耕耘之勤耳。

每憶汝之熱淚、欣慕之心、油然而生、渴欲與汝相見、用充神樂。

吾且示之、彼為吾名、將如何備嘗艱苦。』

彼為基督之臣僕乎？則恕我放肆、吾更是也。吾視若輩勞苦多矣、繫獄多次、受笞無數、且常處死地、屢遭不測、五次被鞭於猶太人、每次四十減一、三次受杖、一次石擊、三遭覆舟、飄於海中者一晝一夜、僕僕風塵、不遑寧息、時遭河汊之危、盜賊之難、邦人之厄、異域之苦、城市之驚、曠野之困、海洋之險、及偽兄弟之陷害：備嘗艱辛、終夜不寐、載飢載渴、時復齋戒、忍苦耐勞、寒而無衣。
