He came to us, took Paul’s belt, tied his own feet and hands, and said,“ This is what the Holy Spirit says:‘ In this way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him over to the Gentiles.’”

他来到我们这里，拿起保罗的腰带，把自己的手脚捆起来，说：“圣灵这样说，犹太人在耶路撒冷要如此捆绑这腰带的主人，把他交在外邦人的手中。”

到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶捆上自己的手腳，說：「聖靈說：猶太人在耶路撒冷，要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。」

他到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶，捆上自己的手腳，說：「聖靈這樣說：『猶太人在耶路撒冷要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。』」

來見我們，拿保羅的腰帶，捆着自己的腳和手，說：『聖靈這麼說，猶太人必在耶路撒冷這樣捆綁這腰帶的主人，給送交在外國人手裏。』

他來到我們這裡，拿起保羅的腰帶，把自己的手腳捆起來，說：「聖靈這樣說，猶太人在耶路撒冷要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人的手中。」

就我儕、取保羅之帶、自縛手足、曰、聖神言、猶太人在耶路撒冷、將如此縛斯帶之主、付異邦人手矣、

就我儕、取保羅帶、縛己手足、曰、聖神云、在耶路撒冷之猶太人、將如是縛此帶之主、付於異邦人手、

取葆樂腰巾、自束手足、曰：『聖神言猶太人在耶路撒冷對此巾所有者、亦將如是捆縛、以交付異族之手。』

Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said,“ The Holy Spirit says,‘ In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

He came over to us. Then he took Paul’s belt and tied his own hands and feet with it. He said,“ The Holy Spirit says,‘ This is how the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will tie up the owner of this belt. They will hand him over to the Gentiles.’ ”

And coming to us, he took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands and said,“ Thus says the Holy Spirit,‘ This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

He came over, took Paul’s belt, and bound his own feet and hands with it. Then he said,“ The Holy Spirit declares,‘ So shall the owner of this belt be bound by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem and turned over to the Gentiles.’”

And he came to us and took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said,“ This is what the Holy Spirit says:‘ In this way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and hand him over to the Gentiles.’ ”

When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said,“ Thus says the Holy Spirit,‘ so shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

And coming to us, and taking Paul’s girdle, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, Thus saith the Holy Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

He came to us, took Paul’s belt, tied his own feet and hands, and said,“ This is what the Holy Spirit says:‘ In this way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into Gentile hands.’”

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver[ him] into the hands of the Gentiles.

He came to us, took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it, and said,“ The Holy Spirit says this:‘ This is the way the Jews in Jerusalem will tie up the man whose belt this is, and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

Coming to us and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said,“ The Holy Spirit says:‘ So the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

Then the commander approached, took him into custody, and ordered him to be bound with two chains. He asked who he was and what he had done.

When Samuel turned to go, Saul grabbed the corner of his robe, and it tore.Samuel said to him,“ The LORD has torn the kingship of Israel away from you today and has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

This is what the LORD said to me:“ Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it on. But do not put it in water.”So I bought underwear as the LORD instructed me and put it on.Then the word of the LORD came to me a second time:“ Take the underwear that you bought and are wearing, and go at once to the Euphrates and hide it in a rocky crevice.”So I went and hid it by the Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.A long time later the LORD said to me,“ Go at once to the Euphrates and get the underwear that I commanded you to hide there.”So I went to the Euphrates and dug up the underwear and got it from the place where I had hidden it, but it was ruined— of no use at all.Then the word of the LORD came to me:“ This is what the LORD says: Just like this I will ruin the great pride of both Judah and Jerusalem.These evil people, who refuse to listen to me, who follow the stubbornness of their own hearts, and who have followed other gods to serve and bow in worship— they will be like this underwear, of no use at all.Just as underwear clings to one’s waist, so I fastened the whole house of Israel and of Judah to me”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ so that they might be my people for my fame, praise, and glory, but they would not obey.

except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.

For this reason I’ve asked to see you and speak to you. In fact, it is for the hope of Israel that I’m wearing this chain.”

After two years had passed, Porcius Festus succeeded Felix, and because Felix wanted to do the Jews a favor, he left Paul in prison.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

As they stretched him out for the lash, Paul said to the centurion standing by,“ Is it legal for you to scourge a man who is a Roman citizen and is uncondemned?”

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you. These things have now been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— angels long to catch a glimpse of these things.

During that time, the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite met Jeroboam on the road as Jeroboam came out of Jerusalem. Now Ahijah had wrapped himself with a new cloak, and the two of them were alone in the open field.Then Ahijah took hold of the new cloak he had on, tore it into twelve pieces,and said to Jeroboam,“ Take ten pieces for yourself, for this is what the LORD God of Israel says:‘ I am about to tear the kingdom out of Solomon’s hand. I will give you ten tribes,

“ See, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death.They will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked, flogged, and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised.”

They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia; they had been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.

“ I wish before God,” replied Paul,“ that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am— except for these chains.”

Disagreeing among themselves, they began to leave after Paul made one statement:“ The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiah

After three days he called together the leaders of the Jews. When they had gathered he said to them,“ Brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or the customs of our ancestors, I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice,

As they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

For this I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I might be bold enough to speak about it as I should.

Elisha responded,“ Get a bow and arrows.” So he got a bow and arrows.Then Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ Grasp the bow.” So the king grasped it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands.Elisha said,“ Open the east window.” So he opened it. Elisha said,“ Shoot!” So he shot. Then Elisha said,“ The LORD’s arrow of victory, yes, the arrow of victory over Aram. You are to strike down the Arameans in Aphek until you have put an end to them.”Then Elisha said,“ Take the arrows!” So he took them. Then Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground!” So he struck the ground three times and stopped.The man of God was angry with him and said,“ You should have struck the ground five or six times. Then you would have struck down Aram until you had put an end to them, but now you will strike down Aram only three times.”

For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, because you know that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.

I will speak through the prophets and grant many visions; I will give parables through the prophets.

I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

When daybreak came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put him to death.After tying him up, they led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.

for which I suffer to the point of being bound like a criminal. But the word of God is not bound.

“ Then you are to shatter the jar in the presence of the people going with you,and you are to proclaim to them,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies says: I will shatter these people and this city, like one shatters a potter’s jar that can never again be mended. They will bury the dead in Topheth because there is no other place for burials.

Then the people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things you are doing mean for us?”So I answered them,“ The word of the LORD came to me:Say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the desire of your heart. Also, the sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword.Then you will do just as I have done: You will not cover your mustache or eat the bread of mourners.Your turbans will remain on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You will not lament or weep but will waste away because of your iniquities and will groan to one another.Now Ezekiel will be a sign for you. You will do everything that he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’“ As for you, son of man, know that on that day I will take from them their stronghold— their pride and joy, the delight of their eyes, and the longing of their hearts— as well as their sons and daughters.
