夫吾人所聖之寶爵、非吾人共飲之基督聖血乎？吾人所分之餅、又非吾人共領之基督聖體乎？

又持餅祝謝、剖而授徒曰：『此乃吾體、為爾舍者、爾當恆行此典、以誌永懷。』

彼等既與葆樂約期、即有多人來其寓所、葆樂自朝至暮向彼等證明天國之道、關於耶穌之事、引徵摩西之律與先知書、以詳說之。

是宜恆懷警惕、念我三年來不舍晝夜含淚訓爾之情。

爾中尚有一事、予實未敢恭維；以爾等聚會、非惟無益、且有損焉。聞爾等聚會時、彼此之間、分別黨派、議論紛紜。我亦略信此言；蓋分派立異之事、在所不免；偽者既起、則真者彌著矣。竊謂爾等集會、其意不在聖餐也。蓋每人各先食其自備之餐；於是不獲一飽者有之、而縱飲無度者亦有之。嗚呼、爾豈無私宅為爾飲食之所乎？抑爾藐視天主聖堂、而欲以飲食炫耀窮人之耳目乎？然則、吾將何言、謂吾與爾乎、吾弗與也。夫吾所授於爾者、乃吾所受於主也。主耶穌於被逮之夕、取餅、祝而分之、曰：此乃吾體、為爾等所捨者；爾等當行此禮、以誌永懷。食後取爵亦然、曰：此爵乃吾血所立之新約、爾等每飲、當行此禮、以誌永懷。是故爾每食此餅、每飲此爵、即係紀念主之彌留、以待其重臨。故凡輕率冒昧、妄食聖餅、妄領聖爵者、則褻瀆聖體與聖血矣。務必正心誠意、深自反省、然後可食斯餅、而領斯爵。若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。爾中弱者病者既多、死者亦復不少、坐是故耳。吾人當初若能善自檢點、則亦何至如此受罪。然今之受罪、即主之所以鍛鍊吾人、以免與世同科耳。兄弟乎、聚食時宜彼此相待；飢則可食於家、庶幾免乎因聚會而獲咎也。餘事俟吾親來部署。

八日後、諸徒仍聚室內、多默與俱、諸戶緊扃。耶穌復進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』

眾既一德一心、日日在殿、居恆析餅以食、亦無不怡然自樂。心悅誠服、

禮期首日、平旦、耶穌復活、先現於瑪達蘭之瑪麗、瑪麗者即耶穌曾逐七鬼出於其身者也。

努力傳道、處順毋弛、處逆毋餒。務須一秉堅忍不拔之耐德、及真實無妄之教理、以規人之過、懲人之惡、而勗人之善也。
