當天晚上，即週日晚上，門徒因為害怕猶太人，把房門都關上了。忽然，耶穌來了，站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」

每逢週日，各人應按照自己的收入抽出一部分留起來，免得我到的時候才現湊。

保羅說完就回到樓上，與大家一同掰餅、用餐，又談了很久，直到天亮才離去。

他們都一心遵守使徒的教導，一起團契、掰餅、禱告。

週日清晨，天還未亮，抹大拉的瑪麗亞就來到墳墓前，發現封住墓口的石頭已經挪開了。

主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見身後有號角般響亮的聲音說：

二人也把路上發生的事以及掰餅時認出主的經過述說了一遍。

有個名叫猶推古的青年坐在窗臺上聽道。保羅講了許久，猶推古不勝困倦睡著了，竟從三樓掉了下去。別人將他抱起來時，他已經死了。

但靠著上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂賜給我的恩典沒有枉費。我比其他人更加賣力，不過我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典與我同在。

領聖餐時，我們為那福杯獻上感謝，這不表示我們有份於基督的血嗎？我們吃掰開的餅，這不表示我們有份於基督的身體嗎？

接著，祂拿起餅來，祝謝後，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我為你們犧牲的身體，你們今後也要這樣做，以紀念我。」

於是，他們和保羅約定了會面的日期。那一天，很多人來到保羅住的地方。從早到晚，保羅向他們傳揚上帝國的道，引用摩西律法和先知書勸他們相信有關耶穌的事。

他們站在自己的地方，宣讀他們上帝耶和華的律法書，長達三個小時。他們又用了三個小時認罪，敬拜他們的上帝耶和華。

所以你們一定要警醒，牢記這三年來我怎樣晝夜不住地流著淚勸誡你們。

現在我有話要吩咐你們，不是稱讚你們，因為你們聚會不但無益，反而有害。首先，我聽說你們在聚會的時候拉幫結派，我相信這些話有幾分真實。你們中間必然會有分裂的事，好顯出誰是經得起考驗的。你們聚會的時候，不是在吃主的晚餐。因為你們進餐的時候，各人只顧吃自己的，結果有些人挨餓，有些人醉酒。難道你們不可以在家裡吃喝嗎？還是你們輕看上帝的教會，存心羞辱那些貧窮的弟兄姊妹呢？我該說什麼呢？稱讚你們嗎？不可能！我把從主領受的傳給了你們，就是：主耶穌被出賣的那天晚上，祂拿起一個餅來，向上帝祝謝後掰開，說，「這是我的身體，是為你們掰開的，你們要這樣做，為的是紀念我。」晚餐後，祂又照樣拿起杯來，說，「這杯是用我的血立的新約。你們每逢喝的時候，要這樣做，為的是紀念我。」所以，每當你們吃這餅、喝這杯的時候，就是宣告主的死，一直到主再來。因此，無論是誰，若以不正確的心態吃主的餅、喝主的杯，就是得罪主的身體和主的血。所以，人要先自我省察，才可以吃這餅喝這杯。因為守聖餐的時候，若有人隨便吃喝，忘記了這是主的身體，他就是自招審判。正因如此，你們當中有許多人身體軟弱，疾病纏身，死亡的也不少。如果我們先自我省察，就不會遭受審判了。主審判我們，是對我們的管教，免得我們和世人一同被定罪。因此，我的弟兄姊妹，當你們吃聖餐時，要彼此等候。如果有人饑餓，可以在家中先吃，免得你們聚會的時候自招審判。至於其餘的事，等我到了以後再安排。

面向水門前的廣場，從清早到正午一直向他們宣讀律法書，人們都側耳傾聽。

過了八天，門徒又聚在一起，多馬也在，門都關著。突然耶穌來了，站在他們當中說：「願你們平安！」

他們天天同心合意地聚集在聖殿裡敬拜上帝，又在各人家中擘餅聚會，以歡喜、慷慨的心分享食物，

耶穌在週日清晨復活後，首先向抹大拉的瑪麗亞顯現，耶穌曾在她身上趕出七個鬼。

無論時機好壞，都要堅持傳道，以百般的忍耐和教導督責人、警戒人、勉勵人。
