余嘗曰、少稼少穡、多稼多穡、各隨其願、毋憂慮、毋勉強、上帝所愛者、樂助也。上帝能加恩與爾、令爾恆足、萬善備於己、經云彼散財矣、彼濟貧矣、義乃永存、主固加種與播者、賜糧與食者、今願以所播之種、加多與爾、為義之效、增益助爾、令爾得以博施、我聚而散之、俾受之者謝上帝、是施濟之職、不第補聖徒不足、益令人徧謝上帝、

亦務為善、供人所需、此乃上帝所悅之祭、

矜恤貧人、如貸金於耶和華、所給者必償。

饑者食之、貧者寓之、裸者衣之、戚屬遭難、毋掩面而不睹。則爾之光明、必如平旦、爾之沉痾、一朝頓失、爾之仁義、護爾於前、我之榮光、衛爾於後。如爾待人不虐遇、不譏訕、不讒毀、則爾呼籲我、我應甚速、若在左右、如爾大發仁心、賑饑濟困、則爾之暗、可變為光、赫然若日方中。我恆導爾以行、雖至槁壞、必若園囿、源泉不竭、灌溉有資、俾爾果腹、筋骸堅固。傾圮之邑、歷代荒蕪、維爾赤子、重加建造、城垣已毀、爾築之、逵衢已斷、爾修之、

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、惟設饌、請貧乏、廢疾、跛者、瞽者、則爾福矣、蓋彼不能報爾、而義人復生時、爾得報也、○

惟醫病、潔癩、甦死、逐鬼、爾以不費受之、亦以不費施之、

爾曹知我主耶穌基督之恩乎、彼原富、因爾致貧、使爾以其貧致富、

我勸兄弟、儆彼無度、勵厥志餒、信未篤者堅之、御眾以寛、

見有手足疲倦者、則為之扶持、端爾趨向、跛者不第足弗傷、而且疾克瘳、

王謂在右者曰、爾見寵於我父、可前而得國、乃創世以來、為爾所備者也、蓋我饑、爾食我、我渴、爾飲我、我為旅、爾館我、我裸、爾衣我、我病、爾顧我、我在獄、爾視我焉、義者將應之曰、主、何時見爾饑而食、渴而飲、何時見爾旅而館、裸而衣、何時見爾病、或在獄、而視爾乎、王必謂之曰、我誠告爾、即行之於我兄弟至微之一、即行之於我也、○

凡益爾者、我無所隱、或眾前、或家居、示爾教爾、

我不求贈於人、第求爾結實益繁、我得諸物有餘、以巴弗提以爾馨香可納之胙、上帝所悅者惠我、我受之甚饒、吾之上帝因耶穌基督、將以其富有、暢爾所欲、榮歸吾父上帝、永世靡暨、心所願焉、

見有手足疲倦者、則為之扶持、

竊者勿復竊、寧服勞、善工作、得以周貧乏、

見人之囚則憫之、如己與同囚、見人之厄則矜之、以己亦具此身、

我以上帝旨告爾、無隱乎爾、○

吾人信之篤者、當容彼信未篤者、不第悅己、

慷慨者所為、其量寛宏、足以自立、

晤對時而用不足、我不累乎人、自有馬其頓兄弟助予、凡事我已自防、又將自防、免致累爾、

爾何事不及他會耶、惟我不累爾、恕我矯情、

余昔行是、今亦將行是、彼所謀者、吾絕其謀、使其自詡、卒無異我、

恬靜是務、己事是圖、躬自操作、一如我命、

凡施厥恩、貸人以金、慎其所行、必蒙福祉兮、恆不遷移、為義之人、其名不朽兮、雖聞凶音而不懼、心有操持、惟耶和華是賴兮、彼堅厥志、無所畏葸、敵人遭害、彼目睹兮、彼散財兮、彼濟貧兮、其義永存、其角崢嶸兮、

眷顧貧乏者福兮、彼遭患難、耶和華救之兮、保護其生、亨通斯土、勿使敵人得遂其謀兮、雖病卧床笫、耶和華扶翼之、病劇之時、治其衾裯兮、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、
