He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Jehovah, And his good deed will he pay him again.

Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall be thy rearward.Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday;and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.But when thou makest a feast, bid the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:and thou shalt be blessed; because they have not wherewith to recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed in the resurrection of the just.

how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,

Not that I seek for the gift; but I seek for the fruit that increaseth to your account.But I have all things, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well- pleasing to God.And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.Now unto our God and Father be the glory for ever and ever. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are ill- treated, as being yourselves also in the body.

For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.

Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

But the noble deviseth noble things; and in noble things shall he continue.

and when I was present with you and was in want, I was not a burden on any man; for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my want; and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

For what is there wherein ye were made inferior to the rest of the churches, except it be that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this wrong.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them that desire an occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we charged you;

Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth; He shall maintain his cause in judgment.For he shall never be moved; The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, Until he see his desire upon his adversaries.He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy; His righteousness endureth for ever: His horn shall be exalted with honor.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies.Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing: Thou makest all his bed in his sickness.

If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
